Ms. Toteja has over 22 years of experience in the healthcare IT industry. Although she started her career as a certified accountant, she quickly discovered her passion for healthcare when she joined George Washington University MFA as a developer to automate their business office processes. During her tenure at GWMFA Ms. Toteja successfully led the implementation and integration of their EHR, Patient portal, Document Management solution, Check-in Kiosk, and mobile and iPad medicine as well as building a real time physician dashboard and a repository of clinical and financial reports helping GWMFA advance to being a national leader with cutting edge technology. Ms. Toteja resigned from the post of Director of Healthcare Informatics to pursue her passion in her own company.
Being at the forefront of the EHR movement with her expertise, experience and industry knowledge Ms. Toteja has been able to guide a variety of clients and offer them strategic enterprise-wide solutions and technologies to streamline and optimize their healthcare processes resulting in financial, clinical and operational performance improvement.
Ms. Toteja currently resides in Clifton VA with her husband and 2 children. She is active in community-based health projects, charitable events and in the past years has been a guest speaker for the George Washington University Capstone course and Principles of organization learning and has brought technology and industry awareness to the physician population in different parts of the USA.
Ms. Toteja serves on the Board of Advisors for Patient Ready Clinicians and is a proud member of various professional organizations including Healthcare Technology Network, MSNVA, HIMSS National Capital Area and National Association of Women Business Owners.
